I'm Tre' Jones, Founder and Managing Director of LaStarCommittee LLC. My story begins in Monroe, Louisiana, where I grew up in the Booker T. community, graduated from Carroll High School, and later continued my education at Grambling State University. Long before LaStarCommittee became a company, its foundation was already being shaped through leadership, service, culture, creativity, ownership, and the belief that where you come from can become part of what you build. In 2019, I turned those ideas into a business and began building something intended to reach far beyond a single product or brand.

Today, LaStarCommittee connects my work across entrepreneurship, apparel, music, education, and community impact. LaStarClothing™ gives that vision a physical form, with brands such as SHERROUSE and NVRZLP representing different parts of the journey. SHERROUSE is especially personal—its roots trace back to my family's home at 2110 Sherrouse Street in Monroe, property connected to my family for generations. NVRZLP represents another principle I carry with me: progress does not require perfection, but it does require movement. Each project may speak differently, but they all come from the same foundation.
For me, LaStarCommittee has never been about simply selling clothing, releasing music, or owning businesses. It is about building something that lasts—rooted in leadership, discipline, creativity, self-development, ownership, and service to others. What began as an ambitious vision has grown into a living ecosystem, and I continue building it piece by piece. Every collection, project, partnership, lesson, and creative decision is another chapter in that story.
